俳優　山賀日出男　Actor: Hideo Yamaga

最近ブログの更新が出来ておりませんが、実は父が11月6日に急逝致しました。

My blog hasn’t been updated recently, but my father died suddenly on November 6th.

今回は父、俳優山賀日出男について書かせて頂きたいと思います。お付き合い頂ければ幸いです。

This time, I would like to write about my father and actor Hideo Yamaga. I hope you can associate

私の父は5人兄弟の長男として生まれ、横浜で暮らしておりました。

学徒動員で国鉄で勤労奉仕。機関助手としてD51に石炭をくべていたそうです。

My father was the eldest of five siblings and lived in Yokohama.

Worked at JNR with student mobilization. It seems that he wrote coal to D51 as an institutional assistant.

映画や芝居、歌劇などが好きで良く足を運んでは当時のスターさん達にブロマイドにサインを貰ったりしていたようです。

He likes movies, plays and operas, and often goes to see the stars at the time signing Bromide.

 

好きが高じて自ら演者になり、初期は横須賀中央劇場といったローカルな劇場で活動していたようです。

He loved himself and became a performer himself, and in the early days he seemed to be active in local theaters such as Yokosuka Central Theater.

そしてテレビ放送の黎明期、NHKのバラエティードラマ『おいらの町』に高校生役でレギュラー出演を果たしました。リンクをご覧頂くと主な出演者の欄に三木のり平先生はじめ有島一郎さん、千葉信男さん、八波むと志さん、藤村有弘さん、太宰久雄さん、牟田悌三さんといったそうそうたるメンバーの中に山賀秀雄（この頃は本名）の名が有ります。

In the early days of television broadcasting, he performed regularly as a high school student in NHK’s variety drama “Oiranomachi”. If you look at the link, in the column of the main performers, Yamaga is among such members as Norihei Miki, Ichiro Arishima, Nobuo Chiba, Mutoshi Happa, Arihiro Fujimura, Hisao Dazai, Teizou Muta There is a name of Hideo (the real name at this time).

この後当時まだ若手喜劇俳優だった三木のり平先生の付き人として働きながら、一番弟子として映画やテレビにも出演しますが、三木のり平先生、森繁久彌さん、江利チエミさん、朝丘雪路さん、里見浩太朗さん、三波春夫さん、山城新伍さん、水前寺清子さん、由利徹さん、なべおさみさん、清水アキラさん、五木ひろしさんといった方々の舞台中心に出演させて頂いくようになり、主に舞台中心に活動するようになっていきました。

明治座、歌舞伎座、国立劇場、新宿コマ劇場、三越劇場、名古屋の御園座、名鉄劇場、大阪の新歌舞伎座、梅田コマ劇場、福岡の嘉穂劇場。また全国を回る巡業もあり一年のうちの半分以上自宅に帰らなかった年もかなり有りました。

月によっては一か月に2つの舞台を掛け持ちして出演したことも有ります。

また17年程前に出版された『小説　コント55号』にも父に関する記述が有り、ブレイク前の坂上二郎さんの親友として描かれております。

実際坂上二郎さんは生前、父の事を『先輩』と呼び何かにつけて立てて下さっていましたし、コント55号所属事務所である浅井企画の浅井社長はよく父の楽屋にお寿司などを差し入れて下さいました。

父は歌舞伎俳優以外で歌舞伎に出演した初めての俳優でもありました。国立劇場にも多数出演させて頂きました。

My father was the first actor to appear in Kabuki besides Kabuki actors. We have also performed at a number of national theaters.

 

満89歳でこの世を去りましたが、その顔は満足し切っているようにしか見えませんでした。

自分の人生に満足できた父は幸せな人生だったのだと思います。

He died at the age of 89, but his face seemed only satisfactory.

I think my happy father was a happy life.
