Chaco’s　福生　（ステーキレストラン）

昨日仕事で福生の横田基地第2ゲート前に有る佐川急便の営業所に行ったのですが、道路の向かいにこのステーキハウスを見付け大いに気になりました。

I went to the Sagawa Express business office in front of the second gate of Fussa’s Yokota base yesterday yesterday, and I found this steakhouse across the road and I was very interested.

横田基地第2ゲートと言えば横田基地に入る一般人が必ず通る場所です。

Speaking of Yokota Air Base Gate 2, it is a place where ordinary people who enter Yokota Air Base must pass.

場所柄アメリカ人の基地関係者の利用が多いはず。という事は肉が安いのでは？と思ったのです。

Location It should be mostly used by American base personnel. Does that mean meat is cheap? that’s what I thought.

いったいいくらなのか良く分かりませんが、安いのは間違いなさそうなので入店(笑)。

I’m not sure how much it costs, but it seems like it’s cheap, so I entered the store (laughs).

渡されたメニューは高級部位が殆ど取り扱い無しになっていました。メニューはハラミと肩ロースが同額で200g1480円、300g1980円、400g2480円。サーロインが200g1980円、300g2480円、400g2980円となっていました。テンダーロインなどの高級なところは覚えていません(笑)。

Most of the high-quality parts of the menu that was handed over were unhandled. As for the menu, Harami and shoulder loin are the same price, 200g 1480 yen, 300g 1980 yen, 400g 2480 yen. Sirloin was 200g 1980 yen, 300g 2480 yen, 400g 2980 yen. I don’t remember high-end places like Tenderloin (laughs).

肩ロース300gとライスを注文。ソースはカレーなど変わり種も有りましたが、肉の味が分かるようにガーリック醤油を頼みました。

I ordered 300g shoulder loin and rice. There were different kinds of sauce such as curry, but I asked for garlic soy sauce so that I could understand the taste of the meat.

特に焼き方は注文しなかったのでミディアムで焼かれてきました。炭火焼です。

I didn’t order how to bake it, so it was medium baked. It is charcoal-grilled.

ステーキ動画

適度に脂身も有り、硬い事もなくまずまずの肉質です。豪州及び米国産ですが、某チェーンのワイルドステーキとは比べ物にならない肉質でした。

It has a moderate amount of fat and is not too hard, so it has a decent meat quality. It is from Australia and the United States, but the meat quality was not comparable to that of a certain chain’s wild steak.

後々表看板を見ると確かに『肩ロース300g1500円』と書いて有りましたが、メニューの金額が合ってなかったら意味ないじゃん(^^;)。

Later when I looked at the front signboard, it was written as “shoulder loin 300g 1500 yen”, but it doesn’t make sense if the price on the menu doesn’t match (^^;).

次回は肩ロース400gをミディアムレアで頼もうと思います(笑)。

Next time I will try shoulder loin 400g with medium rare (laugh).
