皆さんはこのランキングを見てどう思われますか？
私は正直言って驚いています。
１位の北海道、２位の長野は驚きませんが３位の新潟は意外でした。妙高温泉や越後湯沢温泉、月岡温泉、瀬波温泉などバラエティーに富んだ温泉地を擁する新潟ですが、もっと多い都道府県が有ると思ったからです。
First place Hokkaido and second place Nagano are not surprising, but third place Niigata was surprising. Niigata has a variety of hot spring areas such as Myoko Onsen, Echigo Yuzawa Onsen, Tsukioka Onsen, and Senami Onsen, but I thought there were more prefectures.
10位の千葉も意外です。養老温泉、勝浦温泉など有名どころも有りますが宮城や栃木より温泉地が多い印象はなかったです。
The 10th place Chiba is also surprising. There are famous places such as Yoro Onsen and Katsuura Onsen, but there was no impression that there are more hot springs than Miyagi and Tochigi.
逆に大分の20位にも驚きました。大温泉地別府温泉の印象が強く、温泉のイメージが強い県なので。
On the other hand, I was surprised at Oita’s 20th place. It is a prefecture with a strong impression of Beppu Onsen, a large hot spring area, and a strong image of hot springs.
ただこのランキングは『温泉地』の数であり、源泉数ランキングですと大分が群を抜いてトップになります。
However, this ranking is the number of “hot spring resorts”, and Oita is by far the top in the number of hot springs ranking.
温泉法だと温泉法で定められた成分が一定以上含まれるか、泉温25度以上なら温泉と認められます。
25度なんて言ったらプールの遊泳に適した水温以下です。
In the case of the hot spring method, it is recognized as a hot spring if it contains a certain amount of ingredients specified by the hot spring law, or if the temperature of the spring is above 25 degrees.
If you say 25 degrees, it is below the water temperature suitable for swimming in the pool.
ですのでこの温泉地ランキングは必ずしも温泉好きが喜ぶ都道府県ランキングとは合致しないのです。
源泉掛け流し、加温や加水なしの温泉が有る都道府県ランキングとなると様相は大きく変わりそうですね。
Therefore, this ranking of hot spring resorts does not always match the ranking of prefectures where hot spring lovers are happy.
When it comes to prefectural rankings where hot springs without hot water or hot water are available, the situation is likely to change significantly.
