平日２連休だったので仕事が終わったその足で福島県南会津町に向かいました。
I went to Minamiaizumachi, Fukushima Prefecture with my feet off work since it was a two-day weekend.
先日長野県高山温泉郷の七味温泉後楽館でご一緒した方から、昨年の台風１９号で流されてしまった木賊温泉の岩風呂が再建されたと言う情報を頂いたので、久々に木賊温泉に向かったのです。

紅葉＆温泉 Autumn leaves & hot spring
木賊温泉の岩風呂には宇都宮在住時に良く行っており、一昨年にも再訪しています。とても好きな場所なので、楽しみにしていました。
I often go to the rock baths at Tokusa Hot Springs when I live in Utsunomiya, and I visited again two years ago. It was a very favorite place, so I was looking forward to it.
仕事が終わるのがいつもより遅かったので、久喜から東北道に乗り、宇都宮で日光道に入り、大沢から一般道で鬼怒川から南会津町を目指しました。
I finished my work later than usual, so I took the Tohoku Expressway from Kuki, entered Nikko Expressway at Utsunomiya, and headed for Osawa on a general road to Minamiaizu-cho from Kinugawa.
途中鬼怒川温泉から雪が舞い始め、川治温泉では道路に積雪していました。
On the way, snow began to flow from Kinugawa Onsen, and snow was on the road at Kawaji Onsen.
未明の道の駅たじま
道の駅たじまは既にかなりの積雪で、雪の降り方も激しかった為ここで車中泊をすることにしました。
Roadside station Tajima was already quite snowy and the snowfall was so intense that we decided to stay here in the car.
もっと木賊温泉に近い場所に道の駅番屋もあるのですが、これ以上先に進むのは危険だと思ったのです。
There is a Michi-no-EkiBanya nearer to the hot springs, but I thought it was dangerous to go further.
実は2006年の冬に舘岩から塩原に戻る時、下りのカーブでスリップして雪の壁に衝突すると言う自爆事故を起こしているのと、2010年の元旦に大雪の中木賊温泉の岩風呂を目指したものの、途中膝上までの積雪に車が動かなくなり、命からがら下りてきたという経験もあるので、冬のR352の怖さは身に染みているのです。

朝６時になっても真っ暗でしたが、ドライブレコーダーに使用していたマイクロＳＤが反応しなくなってしまったので、会津田島のコンビニに買いに行きました。

店員さん曰くこの雪は今シーズン一番の降りだと仰っていました。

向かいのＧＳでガソリンも補充して、いざ木賊温泉へ。

道の駅番屋では-８度でした。雪は勢いよく降り続いています。

そして木賊温泉に到着。ところが。。。。。

木賊温泉岩風呂入浴不可のお知らせ

まさか１月２月に大雨が降るなどとは想像できませんでした(-_-;)。
今日は大雪ですが間違いなく暖冬なのですね。
I couldn’t imagine a heavy rain in January or February (-_-;).
It is heavy snow today, but it is definitely a warm winter.
木賊温泉広瀬の湯は平日は15時からなので近隣の湯ノ花温泉に向かいました。
湯ノ花温泉交流館に車を停め、公衆浴場の弘法の湯に向かいましたが、歩道は雪が深く膝下までの積雪に、折角温まっても車に戻るまでに風邪をひいてしまいそうだと思い車に戻りました。
そして南会津は諦めて塩原に戻る事にしました。
The wooden hot spring, Hirose no Yu, started at 15:00 on weekdays, so we headed to the nearby Yunohana Onsen.
I parked my car at the Yunohana Onsen Exchange Center and headed for Kobo no Yu, a public bath, but on the sidewalk, the snow was so deep that my snow fell below my knees. came back.
And Minamiaizu gave up and decided to return to Shiobara.
途中中山トンネル周辺の消雪区間でスリップしました(-_-;)。
On the way, I slipped in the snowmelt section around the Nakayama tunnel (-_-;).
無事に道の駅たじまに戻り塩原元湯温泉大出館に日帰り入浴の時間を電話確認しました。
塩原元湯温泉ですと元泉館には2度行った事が有りますが、大出館もゑびす屋もいつもタイミングが悪く入湯できなかったのです。
I safely returned to the roadside station, and confirmed the time of day bathing at Shiobara Motoyu Onsen Oidekan.
At Shiobara Motoyu Onsen, I went to Gensenkan twice, but Oidekan and Ebisuya always had a bad timing and could not take a bath.
あいにく,ゑびす屋は本日木曜定休日でした。
Unfortunately, Ebisuya was closed on Thursday today.

フロントの有る階は3階で、エレベーターで下って1階に行くとそこに様々な種類の源泉が楽しめる温泉のデパートが有りました(*^▽^*)。
The floor where the front is located is the third floor, and there is a department store of hot spring where you can enjoy various kinds of sources when you go down the elevator to the first floor (* ^ ▽ ^ *).

外気温-8度、雪が舞う中の露天風呂は景色も湯も最上級でした(*^▽^*)。
上せることなく上等な硫黄泉に長湯できました(#^^#)。
The outdoor temperature was -8 degrees Celsius, and the open-air bath in the snow was the best in view and hot water (* ^ ▽ ^ *).
I was able to make a long bath in a good sulfur spring without putting it up (# ^^ #).
元泉館も緑の濁り湯ですが、此方の方が硫黄が多いように思いました。先日入湯した長野県高山村の七味温泉紅葉館の湯に似ているように思いました。
Gensenkan is also a green muddy water, but I thought this one had more sulfur. I thought that it was similar to the hot water of Shichimi Onsen Korakukan in Takayama Village, Nagano Prefecture, where I took a bath the other day.

向かって左の黒い湯は少し熱めで、向かって右の青白い湯はかなりぬるめでした。
七味温泉紅葉館の墨湯の様に湯に触れたところが真っ黒になるような事は有りませんでした。
The black hot water on the left was slightly warmer, and the pale hot water on the right was rather lukewarm.
There was no such thing as touching the hot water like black water at Korakukan.

以前から温泉に詳しい友人に薦めて貰っていましたが、此処までバリエーションに富んだ素晴らしい湯だとは思っておらず、南会津では残念でしたがむしろ災い転じて福となすかな？などと思ったのでした(*^▽^*)。
