那須から下り再び関屋北に戻り塩原へ。中塩原のサンクスはファミリーマートに改装されてATMも導入されたようですね。以前は関屋北のセブンイレブンでお金をおろさないとその先のコンビニではおろせなかったのですが便利になりました。

さて『元湯』では一度『元泉館』で立ち寄り湯をしたことが有るので『えびすや』か『大出館』を希望していましたが『えびすや』の玄関には日帰り受付14時までと書いてありました(+_+)。時既に14時45分（しかも水曜はえびすや休業日の様です）。急いでネットで『大出館』の情報を調べるとやはり日帰りは14時までの受付(+o+)。

女湯にはお客さんが居たようですが男湯には先客は居ませんでした。

内湯は印象でですが43度位、露天は38～39度というぬるめの湯で、本日は朝から熱めの湯しか入っていなかったので露天でゆっくりする事にしました(*´▽｀*)。

30分ほどすると30代位の温泉愛好家が入ってきました。やはりぬる湯が好きなようで、東京都西部にお住まいとの事でしたので温泉情報の交換が出来て良かったです♪

高尾の湯の物ではないのですが塩原元湯は硫黄泉であっても酸性泉ではなく刺激の少ない優しい湯でした。
ぬるめの湯でノンビリくつろげました(*^-^*)。
Shiobara Motoyu was not a hot spring but a gentle hot water with little irritation, not an acidic spring.
I was able to relax in the warm water (* ^-^ *).
