10日程前に河津町に行った際に道の駅『マリンタウン伊東』のシーサイドスパに入浴し、レストランで鯵の干物定食を食べましたが、今回は『伊東温泉』中心に書いて行こうと思います。

※河津桜は既に葉桜の様です。

車中泊をせずに朝5時15分に埼玉県西部にある自宅を出ました。

ところが相模原、厚木、平塚と混雑して西湘バイパスに接続する平塚の高浜台に行きついたのが8時。今回は西湘バイパスだけは使用したのでそこからはスイスイ進み、伊東に着いたのは9時45分でした。

前回は夜8時に此方を出たので約3時間で伊東に着きましたが、神奈川の都市部を日中通過するのは距離以上に多くの時間を要します。

帰りは行きより渋滞が激しく5時間程掛かりました。

圏央道を使えばかなり快適にアクセスできるのですが、高速代金を考えると一人で行くのならコスパ的にはむしろ鉄道を利用した方が良いように思いました。

前回もブログに書きましたが伊豆は温泉や海が駅から徒歩で行けるところが多く、バスでないといけない所でも鉄道とバスの乗り継ぎが良く、車無しでも苦労しません。

また鉄道の本数も比較的多く、伊東より先の伊豆急行線もPASMOの利用が出来ます。

特急や新幹線を使わずとも4時間掛からずに地元から伊東に行けますし、運賃も往復で4千円から5千円です。

北関東は車が無いとアクセスが厳しい所が多い反面、渋滞は多くないので車が便利なのですが、伊豆に向かう場合は時間帯に応じてアクセス方法を工夫した方が良さそうです。

さてここからやっと本題です（笑）。

伊東線が宇佐美を発車すると、海際に大きなホテルが見えてきます。以前テレビCMを頻繁に流していたハトヤホテルのサンハトヤです。

When the Ito Line departs from Usami, you will see a large hotel by the sea. This is Sun Hatoya at Hatoya Hotel, which used to broadcast TV commercials before.

海底から自噴する海底温泉を持ち、大きなレストランも構えているので此方が有名ですが古くからある老舗のハトヤホテルは伊東の山側に建っています。

It is famous because it has a seabed hot spring that spouts from the seabed and a large restaurant, but the long-established Hatoya Hotel is built on the mountain side of Ito.

伊東温泉は海の温泉というイメージを持ちがちですが、伊東温泉のほとんどは山から湧出する単純温泉なのです。

Ito Onsen tends to have the image of a sea hot spring, but most of Ito Onsen is a simple hot spring that springs out of the mountains.

先日車中泊をした道の駅『マリンタウン伊東』はサンハトヤの隣に並ぶようにあります。

『マリンタウン伊東』から伊東駅まではバスで片道170円なので、此処に車を置いて伊東の温泉街を散策すると駐車料金は節約できます。

また伊東駅に隣接する市営駐車場より民間の駐車場の方が安い所が多いです。本当に安い所は分かりにくい所が多いのですが、価格の差は場所によってかなりあります。

旅館のチェックインの時間あたりに電車が到着するころ、各旅館のノボリを持った従業員の方たちがお客さんを迎えに集まる光景は今も見られます。

When trains arrive around the time of check-in at the inn, you can still see scenes of employees with Flag at each inn gathering to pick up customers.

しかし、私が子供の頃はもっともっと賑やかでした（私は子供の頃、祖父が伊東に住んでいたのでよく来ていました。）。

However, when I was a kid, I was much more lively (I often came when I was a kid, because my grandfather lived in Ito).

何処の温泉街もそうですが、昔の様な活気はなくなってきているようです。それに加えて今回の新型コロナウイルス騒動で更に客足は遠退いているようです。

Like any hot spring town, it seems that the vibrancy like in the past has disappeared. In addition to this, the new coronavirus turmoil seems to have further deterred customers.

さて、私が最初に向かった先ですが、駅前の道を右手に進みます。マックスバリューを過ぎて薬局の角を左へ。

Well, where I first headed, go right on the street in front of the station. Turn left at the pharmacy past Max Value.

左に曲がり少し進むと梅屋旅館が有ります。

Turn left and go a little further to Umeya Ryokan.

此方には伊東温泉の山から湧出しているアルカリ単純泉浴槽と、自家源泉の強塩泉と単純泉のブレンド浴槽の2つあり、空いていれば両方に入る事が出来ます。

※2021年の大雨により強塩泉が使用不可となり現在は単純泉のみ。

私は温泉好きな友人に教えてもらって今日で3度目の入浴になります。

There are two simple baths, an alkaline simple spring bath from the mountain of Ito Onsen, and a blended bath of a strong salt spring and a simple spring.

I’m going to take a third bath today with a friend who loves hot springs.

日帰り入浴は600円。

※2023 3/26現在700円

One day bathing is 600 yen.

ブレンド浴槽の準備が出来ていないとの事なので先ずはアルカリ単純泉の大浴場へ。

It is said that the preparation of the blend bathtub is not ready, so first go to the large bath of the alkali simple spring.

大浴場と言ってもこじんまりした旅館なので程良い大きさの浴槽です。

この位の浴槽の方が湯の入れ替わりも早く鮮度の良い湯に入れるので好きです(*´▽｀*)。

It is a small-sized inn even if it is called a large bath, so it is a bathtub of a moderate size.

I like the bath tub of this rank because the hot water changes quickly and it can be put in a fresh water (* ‘▽ ｀ *).

塩湯が梅屋旅館の特徴ではありますがこのアルカリ単純泉のレベルもかなり高いです(*^_^*)。とても良く温まりしばらく汗が引きません（*^_^*）。

Solt spring is a feature of Umeya Ryokan, but the level of this alkaline simple spring is quite high (* ^ _ ^ *). It warms up very well and does not sweat for a while (* ^ _ ^ *).

ゆっくり入って出るとブレンド浴槽の準備が出来たそうなのでそちらへ移動。

It seems that the blend tub is ready when you enter and exit slowly, so move there.

暖簾が女湯なので大丈夫なのかお尋ねすると、いつもこうなので気にしないで入ってよいとの事(^^;)。

When asked if it is okay because the noren is a women’s bath, I always say that it’s like this so I can enter without worrying about it (^^;).

梅屋旅館　塩湯動画

大浴場と同じアルカリ単純泉が掛け流されているのですが、別の蛇口から35度の強塩泉も出ており好みでブレンドして入るようになっています（常に塩湯を浴槽に投入すると温くなってしまうため）。

The same alkaline simple spring as the large bath is flowing, but there is also a 35 ° strong salt spring coming out of another faucet, so it can be blended in as you like (always put salt water in the bathtub) Then it gets warmer).

海水まではいきませんがかなり塩気の強い温泉です（*^_^*）。

塩湯から出ると女将さんが冷たいアルカリイオン水を用意してくださいました(*^_^*)。

When I got out of the salt bath, the lady prepared cold alkaline ionized water (* ^ _ ^ *).

有り難い事に何度か再訪している私の事を覚えて居て下さり、伊東や温泉の話で暫し歓談いたしました（*^_^*）。

梅屋旅館を後にして、お食事処へ。今日は朝から何も食べていないので腹ペコです(^^;)。

Leave Umeya Ryokan and go to a restaurant. I’m hungry today because I haven’t eaten anything since morning (^^;).

湯の花通りを奥に進みます。

Proceed down Yunohana Street.

この湯の花通りには伊東で有名な石舟庵や梅家などのお菓子屋さんや、ひもの屋さん、飲食店などが軒を連ね、七福神が祭られています。

管理人たかしがイチオシのお食事処が此処『まるげん』なのです。

Takashi is the recommended restaurant here is “Marugen”.

でもいつもとちょっと様子が違う。。。。

いつもは平日でも11時のオープン前から何人も並んでいるのに。。。12時ちょっと前で誰も並んでいない。

ドアを開けたら直ぐに通された。空席もそこそこある。。。

お店の方に伺ったらやはり新型コロナウイルスの影響で外国人観光客が壊滅的に減ったとの事です(-_-;)。

But it looks a little different than usual. . . .

Even though there are usually many people on weekdays before the 11 o’clock opening. . . Nobody is lined up just before 12:00.

He was passed through as soon as he opened the door. There are vacant seats. . .

According to the store, foreign tourists were devastatingly affected by the new coronavirus (-_-;).

この特別席に通されるのは2度目です（笑）。

今まで頼んだのは地魚刺身定食２回、うずわ定食１回。

今回は刺身付金目鯛の黒潮煮定食にしました(*´▽｀*)。

This time, I chose the sashimi-cooked sea bream with a Kuroshio boiled set meal (* ‘▽ ｀ *).

実はこちらは金目鯛の煮浸けも有名なのです。

元々煮魚はそこまで好きでは無かったのと、折角鮮度が良いのだから生食しないと勿体ないという気持ちから今まで金目鯛の煮浸けを頼まなかったのですが噂通りの絶品でした＼(^o^)／。

Originally, I did not like boiled fish so much, and because I had a good freshness, I had to ask for a stewed Kinme sea bream because I felt it would be inevitable if I did not eat it raw, but it was a rumored exquisite ＼ (^ o ^) /.

勿論刺身も最高でした(*´▽｀*)。

Of course the sashimi was also the best (* ‘▽ ｀ *).

そしてメニューの下部に書いてあったうずわ出汁茶漬けも追加しちゃいました（*^_^*）。

うずわ定食の〆の出汁茶漬けとは違うものですが、この魚茶漬けも魚の歯応えが良く美味しゅうございました(*´▽｀*)。

お腹もいっぱいになったし、この後入る予定の公衆浴場子持ち湯の営業開始まで時間はあるしで、伊東の海岸を散歩しました。

I’m full and I have time to open a public bath, which I plan to enter later, so I took a walk along the coast of Ito.

海岸まで駅から徒歩で直ぐなのです。

It is a short walk from the station to the coast.

子供の頃祖父の家に来た時に海水浴に出掛けましたが、水の綺麗な川奈に行くことが多かったので、此方に来るのはほぼ初めてでした。

とても温かい陽が差してノンビリできました(#^^#)。

I was able to get a very warm sun and have a good day (# ^^ #).

オープンの14時少し前から駅前の公衆浴場『子持ち湯』の前で待ちました。

Shortly before 14:00, we waited in front of the public bath in front of the station, “Komochiyu”.

伊東温泉の公衆浴場は10か所ありますが、湯使いや泉質で高い評価を得ているのがこの駅前の子持ち湯なのです(*´▽｀*)。

There are 10 public baths in Ito Onsen, but the hot springs in front of this station are highly rated for their use and quality of hot springs (* ´ ▽ ｀ *).

本当に駅のロータリーの目と鼻の先の地下に子持ち湯は有ります。

番台の女性に250円を払い一番湯に浸かりました(*´▽｀*)。

We paid 250 yen to the woman in the series and soaked in hot water (* ‘▽ ｀ *).

今まで伊東の公衆浴場は和田寿老人の湯と岡布袋の湯に入りましたが子持ち湯はかなりコンパクトでした。

5人も入ればいっぱいになるような浴槽に源泉が投入され、先程の梅屋旅館に勝るとも劣らない鮮度の高い良く温まる湯に浸かる事が出来ました(*´▽｀*)。

The source was poured into a bath tub that would fill as many as five people, and it was able to be immersed in hot water with high freshness and no less than the previous Umeya Ryokan (* ‘▽ ｀ *).

単純泉でここまで良く温まる湯というと越後湯沢温泉の『山の湯』を思い出します（*^_^*）。

インターネットでの評判の高さも納得でした(#^^#)。

大浴場のほかに家庭の浴槽位の家族風呂も3つあり、350円という低価格で入浴できるようです。

In addition to the large public bath, there are also three family baths that are similar to a home tub, and they seem to be able to take a bath at a low price of 350 yen.

古き良き公衆浴場という雰囲気で、湯の良さも相まって好きな温泉になりました(*´▽｀*)。

The atmosphere of a good old public bath, combined with the goodness of hot water, has become my favorite hot spring (* ‘▽ ｀ *).
