もつ煮の永井食堂　Motsuni Nagai Shokudo

恐らく多くの群馬県人が知っている『もつ煮の永井食堂』は関越道渋川伊香保インターから国道17号を沼田方面に進み、『道の駅こもち』を過ぎ敷島を過ぎて更に進むと左手に現れます。

Probably known by many Gunma people, “Motoni no Nagai Shokudo” is on National Route 17 from Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway toward Numata. Will appear.

沼田方面から来ると『この先永井食堂　車の出入り多し　注意』の標識が出ています。

When you come from Numata, you will see a sign that says “Now, the Nagai Shokudo is a car with lots of traffic.”

そこだけ道幅が広がったいわゆる退避帯にある訳ですが、平日でも時間帯によっては車が停められず、やむなく通過せざるを得ない事も有ります(^^;)。

Although it is in the so-called evacuation zone where the road width has widened, there are times when even on weekdays the car can not be stopped depending on the time zone and has to pass through (^ ^;).

何故そんなに人気かというと看板にあるように『うまい　安い　早い』からです。

The reason why it is so popular is that it is “good, cheap, fast” as shown on the sign.

 

その安さをキープする為にお客もお店に協力しなくてはなりません。

Customers must cooperate with the shop to keep the price low.

お店はカウンターのみで出入り口はいくつかありますが、入店したらお店のお姉さんの指示に従って座ります。

なるべく『待ち』が出ないように効率の良い席割りをお姉さんがするのでそれに従うのです。

The shop is only a counter and there are several doors, but when you enter the shop, you will sit according to the instructions of your sister.

Your sister will make efficient seat assignments so that you don’t have to wait.

注文は『もつ定』『もつ定半ライス』『もつ定もつ大』以外は許されません（嘘です（笑））。

Orders are not allowed except for “Motsuni Set Meal”, “Motsuni Set Meal Half Rice”, and “Motsuni Set Meal Motsu large”.

ですが管理人は前橋に住んでいた11年～13年前に結構頻繁に『永井食堂』に行きましたが、上記3つ以外の注文は『納豆』以外見た事が有りません（笑）。

However, the manager often went to “Nagai Shokudo” 11 to 13 years ago when he lived in Maebashi, but I have never seen any orders other than the above 3 except “Natto” (laughs) ).

もつ煮目当てに行く人が大半ですからそうなりますよね（笑）。

That’s because most people go for the simmering eye (laughs).

あぁ、管理人は『永井食堂記念CD』なる物を買った事が有りました（笑）。今は何処かに行ってしまったのですが

『ちょっと寄って食べてみて♪スタミナ体力みなぎる～♪一度食べたらクセになる♪もつ煮の永井食堂♪』

という感じの曲がメインでした♪

Oh, the manager once bought something called “Nagai Shokudo Memorial CD” (laughs). I have gone somewhere now

“Try and eat a little ♪ stamina full of physical strength ~ ♪ Once you eat it addictive ♪ Motsuni Nagai Shokudo ♪”

The song was like that ♪

 

話は戻りますが、決まりごとはまだあります。

Again, the rules are still there.

お盆は縦置きにしなければなりません。

一人でも多くの人がカウンターに座る為の配慮です。

The tray must be placed vertically.

This is a consideration for as many people as possible to sit at the counter.

そして残してはいけません。残すことは此方ではご法度です。

And do not leave. It is legal here to leave.

なので初めにご飯の量やいらないものを伝えなければなりません。通常ではご飯は山盛りです。こちらの『半ライス』は基準が山盛りなので、普通盛りよりやや多め位に思っていいと思います。

無駄を無くすことが低価格維持には必要なので協力致しましょう。

So first you have to tell the amount of rice and what you don’t need. Usually, rice is heaped. This “Half rice” has a heap of standards, so I think it’s a bit more than a normal one.

Let’s cooperate because eliminating waste is necessary for maintaining low prices.

 

本当に永井食堂のもつ煮は絶品です(*´▽｀*)。

Really, the Nagai Shokudo’s motsuni is exquisite (* ´ ▽ ｀ *).

前橋に住んでいた時も車で片道40分以上は掛かりましたがそれでも何度も行きましたし、埼玉に戻って来てからも機会あるごとに食べに行っています(#^^#)。

When I lived in Maebashi, it took more than 40 minutes by car one way, but I still went many times and I went to eat every time I came back to Saitama (# ^ ^ #) .

お姉さん方も『かかあ天下と空っ風』の上州の女性ですが、水が無くなったお客さんのコップにすかさず水を注ぐような気配りの有る方々です。

 

The older sisters are also women from Kamaka, Tenka and Kaze, but they are attentive to pouring water into the cups of customers who have run out of water.

 

お土産用は此方の他に富岡に持ち帰り専用販売所が有るようです。
